Doing laps on the Mercedes-Benz Bremen Factory Test Track in the 2012 C63 Coupé with performance package in a gorgeous matte black... see the video! My cheeks still feel the g-forces.

September 25th, 2011

On surprises when i went by the Mercedes-Benz Bremen Factory where my AMG C63 Coupé was just built (and unfortunately we missed it on the factory line by a few DAYS), they brought us out on the TEST TRACK!!! To do a few laps with their pro drivers. Apparently EVERY AMG that goes to the USA take a few laps here (and one out of a few for other countries to test).  While i unfortunately don't know how fast he got on the straight away and 60 degree bank of a hairpin turn... it was great fun! And at first i was far too busy experiencing it to take pics/vids... then we tried videoing two laps which you can see below ~ i tried hand holding my 5D MKII ~ as carefully in front of my face as possible without letting the g-forces slam it into my face! You've got crazy banking, straight away, speed bump, turns and more on this factory track...

(ignore my voice in there! but i left audio for you to hear the engine... and that's from the INSIDE!)
Above the welcome center and the factory buildings and along the many trees you see buffering the factory from the city of Bremen... that q-tip like bit is the test track!
This is the 60 degree bank turn up close... omg. My cheeks can still feel the G-forces slamming my body...
Beautiful isn't it?
A peek inside the brand new car awaiting our ride ~ and our lovely driver laughing at how excited i was!
Yes. The front brakes were smoking after quite a few rounds... (don't worry, we hear that can be expected when you're doing those speeds round the track)
