The aim of brio54 is to offer functional, inspiring and affordable modern design to the masses, and from what I can tell, they’ve succeeded (at least at the concept stage).
Mansilla + Tuñón Arquitectos has created a stunning building for the Contemporary Arts Museum of Castilla y León. The building is made up of seemingly simple lines, but the building is, somehow, very inviting anyway.

The structure of the Upcher House by Bates Masi is an adjustable cantilevering rack system normally used in lumberyards. Located in East Hampton, the house only cost $228,000 to build. Two stories, with a loft and a catwalk that's outta sight!
Amsterdam based architect John Lonsdale designed the leaftable. Inspired by boat, butterfly and leaf, the table is a horizon into which found objects can be placed. The table is made from laminated hardwoods.
