Ever felt a slight despondent when locking your prized new garments away in the wardrobe? Mathilde Alders certainly has, so much so in fact that she’s designed her own, decidedly exhibitionist, wardrobe.
Padded cell is a very sweet project by Jennifer Rubell. The installation consist in an 8’X16’ freestanding room constructed of basic building materials. Inside, the walls and ceiling are padded with 1,600 cones of pink cotton candy.
