Bare Conductive's Flashing Card Sets are a fun use of their Electric Paint. We Draw our own circuits and light up the Conductive Encounters!

Another highlight from Top Drawer was finally seeing conductive paints in action with Bare Conductive. We've heard quite a bit about their projects and development of solder-free electronics projects, so it was a fantastic opportunity to actually have a chance to take them for a spin, making our own flashing Monster greeting cards!

Rather than needing wires and solder, circuits are created by drawing with a conductive ink.
The Conductive Encounters Flashing Card Set on display.
In addition to Flashing Card Sets, Bare also make a Glowing House Set that lets you create your own houses complete with lights.
To take the kits for a spin, we made our very Conductive Encounters Flashing Card Set.
Reading the instructions head of our Conductive Encounters.
The kits include the "Electric Paint", LEDs and batteries.
Our trio of pre-connectivity monsters!
Our components, ready for assembly.
The cards clearly indicate the positioning and orientation of components.
Battery inserted and ready for connection.
The "Electrical Paint" is a thick substance, but quite easy to use as it is applied much like decorative icing for cookies.
Finishing up connections.
The circuit is complete! The cards then take about 15 minutes to dry, after which the flashing begins.
Lights on!
As the paint dries, the light grows stronger.
The pack contains a yellow, green and red LED, so each monster has its own flair.
The battery life seems impressive thus far as our monsters are still flashing away!
We also got a peek at the new Touch Board, whose launch follows a successful Kickstarter campaign.
The new board allows you to draw connections to its 12 electrodes, allowing you to turn any material into a sensor.
