Inspiration: Nashville! Our latest discoveries ~ from Headquarters Coffee filled with delicious localness, to Peter Nappi's stunning boot store, Bang Candy's Boozy Caramels, the Marathon Motor Car building filled with creatives and more.

It was great to spend some time with Shawn's old (and huge!) lab ~ who makes Bucky look teeny.
Just 1 year old, Headquarters Coffee is worth stopping by. This adorable little coffee shop is filled with local Nashville goodness ~ from the largest selection of High Garden Tea (outside of their own store), Roast Inc. coffee, local honey, pastries (SO delicious!), jewelry, candles, and more. The history of this building and alleyway turned into a small store front is fascinating, and you can even see original exterior walls inside. Oh! And their signature local honey latte is delightful!
Peter Nappi is a gem of a store filled with Nashville designed leather boots made in Italy, as well as bags, jackets and more, Additionally, everything you see (furniture/etc) is for sale too! Stunning space that even has a stage for events.
Love the wooden shoe boxes!
Random discoveries ~ fun vintage beer can in an antique store and a delectable Maple Chai from the adorably chill Edgehill Cafe.
On a rainy day, i went exploring the stunning Marathon Motor Car building which has turned into Marathon Village, which houses everything from creative studios and cafes to live music venues and local artisans. A must taste is the Bang Candy Company's Boozy Caramels that are made with Belle Meade Bourbon.
Also in Marathon Village is the cute store with a window into the factory of Otis James, which has a nice line of handmade caps, bow ties, ascots, lady ties, and more.
No Nashville trip would be complete without a trip to the farm to visit the cows, horses, donkeys, and Shawn's old toys...
... like the dune buggy they built back in high school!
Fun use of mirrors for this skull mural (it did continue fully to the other side, but looks like a full skull in each dressing room) at The Label. And one more pic of his adorably huge dog napping...
Dramatic views as we left Nashville and started descending back into LA.
