"La Fée Pompette" ("The Tipsy Fairy") by French artist Bastien Carré is a unique piece made with hundreds LEDs welded by hand. It evokes the dust of star of a small fairy who would have a little abused of Champagne during Christmas and new Year holidays.
Suspended from a fine supply thread, this piece turns in the slightest draft wich creates its nuances of sparklings according to curves.
Its scale is about 1 meter.
Its creator, Bastien Carré, is specialized in luminous sculptures, luminous mobiles and luminous pictures and calls this kind of art “lumigraphy”.
